Oh he absolutely was likeable, outside of the first few episodes. Michael said and did a lot of stupid shit but he loved everyone in that office (with the exception of Toby, of course.) He was childish in a lot of ways but ultimately wanted the best for his friends.

Michael Scott was ultimately a likeable and well-meaning person though. The people you’re thinking of are neither.

I’m looking forward to watching this but Hereditary was one of the most disturbing movies I’ve ever seen. Ain’t no way a Netflix show is going to top that.
