It was a really dark ending but it did help explain the wackiness of the final season.

Unfortunately, I first saw Leaving Las Vegas around the same time I realized how much I truly loved alcohol. The scene where Nick Cage is driving down the street chugging from a bottle of vodka is one that I played out often. Thankfully my family saved me from the same fate as Ben Sanderson.
