That’s a good point. I always hated how someone would go off topic, which is fine, and there would be endless scrolling to get to someone who was actually commenting on the article. I just hope that the AVC gets some fresh blood soon because it’s a ghost town right now.

AV Clubber here, and you’re right, a lot of bitching is going on over there. We used Disqus on the old site and Kinja has destroyed the comment section. An article that used to get hundreds of replies now gets dozens.
