The “Selena was snubbed” takes are baffling. I think she does a good job at exactly what she’s supposed to be doing in that show. But you’re not gonna stand out playing the straight man against Steve Martin and Martin Short.

I am trying to wean off watching cop shows, which are propaganda to make police appear like decent everyday people. They are not. They are thugs with a badge, with zero accountability as this story and many others show.

I think something to understand is that we have almost no public education on the female reproductive system and pregnancy, so often people’s first real experience with pregnancy is their own. I was raised in a staunchly pro-choice household. My mother and grandmother both had abortions they were quite happy with, my

I’m disappointed Better Call Saul didn’t win anything. Bob played three characters and nearly died while filming, and Rhea had her best season yet. Not to mention, the writing, directing, and filmography was stellar.

This may be an unpopular belief, but we have to support people like this. The bottom line, is most people are ignorant. Most people do not pay attention, and most people do not care about something (anything: cancer, autism, dementia) unless it happens to them. That is human nature, and its the reason state houses

fuck Chick-fil-a in all things, but this is basically making up a reason to be angry when there are already plenty out there.

I am more understanding of her situation, because I think she’s like most people who are pro-life — they don’t quite grasp just how vicious the movement really is, nor do they realize the implications. Now she’s realized just how bad it can be. Yes, she’s been told, but she’s also been insulated by a movement that’s

This actually my story, and this portrayal isn’t accurate at all. I’ve been a prochoice advocate for SIX YEARS. I haven’t been pro-life since I was in college. I can’t believe the misinformation that’s being spread about me right now by news outlets. I have NEVER said that my abortion in March 2022 was what changed my

Wondering if maybe this is more so a case of ignorance and lack of education? I’ve never had a health class that touched on why abortions fall under medical care. Unless you seek this information out, where will you get it? Not to mention Texas and her family is probably a echo chamber for abortion is wrong it is

I’m still at your first reaction; I don’t see my opinion changing.

Exactly. It’s all “BUT BABIES!!!” until one of the Christian RWNJs finds themselves knocked up when they didn't want to be.

Here’s something she wrote herself: https://www.lovewhatmatters.com/infertility-miscarriage-woman-explains-importance-of-reproductive-freedom/

The headline conveniently leaves out the fact that she had been a pro-choice activist for around eight years prior to this, and certainly prior to Roe V Wade. She changed her mind when she was 21, and prior to that she’d been facing years of indoctrination (and likely lies about the danger pregnancy actually entails).

All these GOP fucktards see the light when it’s personal. They flip flop as soon as a family member comes out gay, or trans or needs an abobo for health reasons.

This isn’t the full story, she has been pro-choice since a miscarriage in her early twenties caused her to reconsider her views, and advocated against anti-abortion laws before she needed one herself.

She just didn't care until it affected her. There's a whole political party for that.

My mom used to call this the “Well, I’m okay, Jack!” mentality. It’s like people who parallel park leaving three feet either side, and then complain they can never get a parking space but x infinity.

It’s like how Dick Cheney supported same sex marriage (even before Obama!) because his daughter was gay. The more Republicans who are impacted by these issues, the likelier they are to realize that their party’s stances are inhumane and evil.

This woman is my new hero, thank you.

Now playing

When Trump dies I plan to take a page from the book of this woman reacting to the death of Thatcher:
