Apparently the Turbo that I drove was just uncared for by it's previous owners now that I look back at it more. It looked decent and just seemed to just have the typical wear from age in the beginning. But as we drove it more, the check engine light kept coming on for various reasons, the interior started to fall

I've driven a 996 Turbo and it felt like terrible. It felt like it was just too much motor/drivetrain for that iteration of the 911's chassis. It was great for quick romps on the throttle around town and a little bit of fun on the highway, but I wouldn't want to invest in something I know would spend more time in the

I can definitely understand that. sucks that he has to sell such an awesome ride. And I wish I had $8k to offer him, but I've still gotta put an engine in my own project, lol. Best of luck to him getting it sold to a good new home.

I'm going to go with NP, even though I wouldn't pay $10k for it. That $10k seems like a list price that could be negotiated to $8k, which I would pay for it. RWD, manual, wagon, Skyline power, easily made into a super sleeper? Checks all the boxes for me!

Is that Florida? That looks like Florida. Yeah, that's Florida.

A unicorn like no other. Perhaps IPD will be willing to part with theirs one day...

I'd be more than happy to take that V70R off your hands. Please tell me it's Flash Green Metallic with the Atacama interior?!?!?!

I always thought that was just a euphemism for a Canadian fart.

Just as added justice, I feel we need to get all of Jalopnik asking Mr. Peevler to buy this engine. Spam his inbox until it crashes, just like his comma - tose son did...

Fucking. Brilliant.

What happens if it eats your $35k though??? Can you shake it if your GTi gets stuck on the way down??? These are questions that need to be answered!!!!

Hmm, I might have to go check this thing out. I really liked the way the CLA drove, but the interior space was just too cramped to have my tall self and a car seat crammed into it. The GLA is a funky looking thing, but for some reason I really like the way it looks. Do you think the non-AMG version is worth the $38k~

So how does the GLA compare to the CLA as far as interior space? I test drove the CLA, and being 6'2", I had bit of trouble getting in and out of the car without smacking my head. I would hope that GLA, being a little bit taller itself, would have a bit more headroom and legroom.

The VR-4 is such an overlooked performance car when people think of all the Japanese muscle from the '90s. And that's one of the reasons why I love it. Good luck with the restoration. I'm excited to see how this one turns out!

No, haha. I'm in Charleston. But I work for a website that does photography for police department's across SC, so I've seen them all, hahaha!

I know I'm a little late on this, but you guys also have a Dodge Durango for the SRO.

That's it's camo man. People will never know the prisoner transport is chillin nearby. They'll just think all that metal inside is for the refrigeration unit...

Not really banned, just not imported. Audi RS6 avant (last gen) = twin-turbo 580hp V10 powered wagon. New generation (which is the one pictured above) only has a 560hp twin-turbo V8, but it still isn't imported into the US. This was the best comparison I could think of though, what with it being related to kids on the

The deal for the Passport 8500 is excellent. I have that detector myself and it's saved my ass quite a few times when I wasn't paying attention (or just didn't see the police cruiser on the side of the road yet). It's picked up radar before that took me another 20 seconds before I saw the cruiser. I highly recommend
