THIS MAN SPEAKS THE TRUTH!!!! I mean, just look at the Alfa logo. That's no the flag of the Milan! It's the symbol for the Knights Templar!!! He was on the crusades!!! It's proof!!! So, by all that perfect reasoning and logic, ALFA-ROMEO IS THE ILLUMINATI!!!!!!!!!!!
Star for the Blazing Saddles reference!
I see quite a few of them around the town, especially in the nicer parts. Hell, there's one parked right next to me outside of work right now. I used to work at our local Jag dealership, and even with the next Jag dealership being only an hour away, we were still selling an average of 4 a month. A lot of people were…
Mercedes-Benz/AMG has already done something similar to this for quite a while now. You could add the Sport Package to most Mercedes models, and that netted you AMG wheels, AMG styled bumpers, AMG-esque sport steering wheel, and one or two other pointless things that I can't remember. Is this new AMG level going to…
Ah, I seem to have mis-interpreted your statement. My apologies. I can see that most people looking at the Macan would not be looking at it with track-duty in mind. I just thought you were saying that it was not capable of such a thing.
And the ignorant drivel continues... First off I don't drive a minivan. I don't drive a crossover. I don't even drive an SUV. I've got a Ford Fusion as my daily driver and a Porsche 944 project car. So, that part of your argument is already invalid.
IIRC, they did make and sell a few, but they were by custom order only.
The Macan's not really a crossover in the sense I believe you're thinking about it. It'as a cross between a sports car and an SUV (like the 911 and the Cayenne had a kid), not a minivan and an SUV, which most people assume is the only thing that crossover means in the automotive world.
That PDK is no slouch though. I'm normally all for the "Give me manual or give me death!" movement with performance oriented vehicles, but once you drive a Porsche PDK, it really is just like a manual, minus a clutch pedal. The transmission shifts when you want it to, not whenever it feels it's appropriate (at least…
Yep. Every one that we got in / had on order at the Porsche dealership I used to work for was pre-sold. Even the demo units.
You don't really know what a minivan is do you? A minivan, whether it has sliding doors or not, is lower to the ground, has plenty of interior space, three row seating, and plenty of storage compartments. If you've ever even been inside an X3/X5 Macan/Cayenne or whatever other luxury/performance SUV (exception being…
Having worked for Porsche and driven the Macan, I must disagree. The Macan Turbo is quite capable on track, believe it or not. It can run nearly identical lap times to a 911 Carrera. We started calling it an inflated 911, lol.
Absolutely brilliant!!! Post of the Day. You have won it. Even though I'm a day late...
My money's on Ride Along 2.
"...any 5 year old would be drawn the Pixar car..."
Glad I could be of service!
Funny you write this article today, when, as I'm browsing random cars on Craigslist, I come across this '04 Mustang. Guy lists all sorts of mods including a twin turbo kit and "Ford GT Heads"... And it's even at such a great point that it "could either be converted to full race or cleaned up and made into 800+ RWHP…
It would be the perfect replacement for the Crown Vic.
This is what Ford should have replaced the Crown Vic with. The Falcon would have made a MUCH better Police Interceptor than the Taurus. GM did the same with Holden and made their new PPV the Caprice, which seems to be relatively succesful. And Ford had been the go-to brand for PPVs for the last two decades, so I'm…
