The cross over between the worlds of business casual and athleisure has worked great for me. I still wear a button down every day, but now I can throw an Under Armor or Lulu zip up over the top and be comfortable without being stuffy. And I can wear it in front of executives without batting an eye.

I’ve got a pair of

According to my very cursory research, it’s Vermont (with almost double the next on the list), Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Colorado. Colorado’s numbers do not appear to be much more significant than the others near it on the list.

I lived in West Michigan off Lake Michigan for 6 years where we saw plenty of blizzards. My, at the time, Saturn Aura handled blizzards just fine. AWD is a nice feature to have, but certainly not necessary for snow.

Definitely not the great lakes. There is one Subaru dealership that services the entire Metro Detroit area, and I almost never saw them when I lived on the west side of Michigan. Don’t see em much when I visit Illinois or Wisconsin either.

I had a 2014 SS on lease. At the time, I was sitting in rush hour traffic an hour each way each day, plus I live in Detroit where it snows a lot. I had snow tires on the Camaro in the winter, so it actually drove VERY well, even in deep snow. But all those factors combined made me think, “maybe it’s time to upgrade

As a former Camaro SS owner who regrets not staying a Camaro SS owner.... you should get a Camaro SS. Let that white girl fly.

That makes sense. I think a lot of my original comment had a lot to do with the fact that, in society as a whole, I don’t like the way marketing influences people. We’ve become far too attached to companies that, for the most part, just see us as dollar signs, regardless of what color our skin is. I’m jaded, I

Yea, they’re reliable sure. But their design both interior and exterior is, IMO, garbage. I think the same thing about Honda. I love Honda lawn mowers, but their cars... gross. I realize I’m in the minority on this website where it’s unpopular to not like those cars. /shrug

People in California love Subaru’s. That’s pretty much it. Their cars are garbage.

I’ve apologized in numerous posts JPT, I’m not sure what else you want me to do. I’ll be sure to choose my words more carefully next time... but I highly doubt there will be a next time on Roots.

This is exactly how I’ve felt and I’m really regretting even making the comment. I commented because I’m genuinely trying to understand, and I’m getting crushed for it. It’s so difficult to have an honest discourse about topics like these without getting accused of something.

Thank you for the well thought out reply, I appreciate it.

I’ll reply to myself since I’m not really sure who to reply to. It’s pretty clear I chose my words poorly in my first post, so I apologize. I was simply trying to better understand the situation at hand. I’ve seen it posted about a few times here and thought it would be helpful for myself to gain some perspective,

Whoa, you need to chillax a bit. I don’t hold anyone to any standards, nor would I ever care what race, ethnicity, or religion owns a business. If a product works for me, I buy it.

The question in my first post was, is my view on this different because I’m a white guy. I never asked why black people support black

Wait, but now you’re talking about changing the product itself. Did Shea change the product, or just who they are advertising to? Because those are two very different things. If shaving cream company started advertising the product I use to women, but the formula didn’t change, I couldn’t care less as long as it

But I guess my point is, if the product works for you, and you know it works well, who cares who they advertise to?

Like for example, I’m a pale skinned ginger. I use Neutrogena sun screen because it work’s without getting all oily and causing my skin to break out. It makes no difference to me that every piece of

Am I the only one who thinks it’s weird to have these brand alliances? Is it just easy for me to say things like that because I’m just a generic ass white dude? Like, I don’t check what race a brand is owned by... if their product works, it works. There are SO MANY other people involved in these big companies. It

I think you took my joke far too seriously...

I really think we’re on to something here. Want to get on the 2020 ticket with me?

Holy shit, THREE PROMISES!
