I’d say the trucker was a fault, indeed. Though I’ve seen the behavior of some truckers who think “if I start to get over that fucker in the car will have to let me over because I are bigger.”

find many in the pro-autonomous car crowd not especially well informed on the underlying tech.

But she sure is excited just like all other fanboys fan-persons.

Oh, she can she can write about them , I just wish she would better inform herself on the topic ... If find many in the pro-autonomous car crowd not especially well informed on the underlying tech.

I’m going to be brutal here, but after reading several of her articles on this topic I’m going to say, Alissa has no clue ...

You would think after her first three or four articles condemning all forms of automobiles and getting shit on by the commentariat for it that she would rethink writing more articles about them.

or logic...or truth...or common sense.

“First, they came for the pilots, and I did not speak out, because I was not a pilot. Next they came for the truckers, and I did not speak out because I was not a trucker. Next they came for the drivers, and I did not speak out because I was not a driver. Then they came for the motorcyclists, and there was no one left

Why can’t the solution just be to educate our drivers more?

Alissa does not let facts get in the way of her crusade against cars.

Why can’t the solution just be to educate our drivers more? I totally agree that people who have no interest in driving shouldn’t be, but as someone who grew up loving cars, taking them away from people like me because of idiots who can’t handle the responsibility is a hard pill to swallow.

We KNEW this was going to happen eventually, if only because there are manual drivers out there.

Hahahaha. Seriously. This.

I’d argue that we fly because its far more convenient than driving across country or taking a ship across the ocean.

Once again, completely clueless Alissa Walker talking about a topic she has no understanding of whatsoever. Isn’t it time for you to go out and throw rocks at cars?

I think it's important to note that this appeared to be an unavoidable accident in any circumstance. What I've read seems to indicate the trucker pulled out in front of the Tesla. Traveling at highway speeds, it may not have been possible for anyone to avoid the crash.
