He sold some stock before that shit show, but it was already planned to be sold long before that. Execs from large companies sell stock on a regular basis following a schedule they need to publish in advance. Can’t quite remember but I believe those schedules are published months before the actual sale of the stock.

Shell manager who came up with that line was probably like:

I was a bit put off by the fact that night creatures have agency in this show, but not because I was bothered by any of them in particular, but because it broke action scenes a lot when they ran into one of those creatures who wasn’t just a mindless thing to kill in a cool looking way.

Not going to lie, I came into the post thinking “it’s not that bad”, because the thumbnail looked like an actual improvement was made from the original. Having seen some of the rest... ouch... that’s pretty bad.

So, Epic went from making games, to making a game engine, and then to making a game people can use as a game engine.

Some people need professional help, and there are some who are probably way beyond anything a professional can do to help, and then there are people like this dude.

Religious/political tensions being as they are over there, I doubt it’s something that can be easily done. I’m sure there are tons of “legal” roadblocks to do that, like visa requirements that are almost impossible to meet, for example.

Are they done making expansions for Sims 4? I might give that one a go when it’s finally done. Sims 3 with all the stuff was pretty decent fun.

Thanks for the thorough explanation, I can finally disengage that one neuron that wouldn’t let that go and kept nagging me to find out.

Thanks lol, didn’t make the mental connection when I saw that, I don’t think that stuff was available in the old Diablos.

I’m not really much of a Diablo player (stopped after Diablo 2), so I have no idea what “ipower” means. Tried Google and none of the results in the first page for “diablo 4 ipower” said anything about it, just a bunch of results about power leveling and such.

I’m sure it means something more epic sounding in English, but my mind just went directly to:

Is Sony even working on a game that could overtake CoD on the shooter genre at this point? Because they’d have to be stupid not to be working on a contingency plan, even if it’s unlikely to succeed in the first couple of iterations.

PC gaming is dead” -publishers not that long ago

You can use ublock in Firefox on Android as well, that’s how I get rid of all the crap Kotaku puts on every page. No more autoloading videos or “you should see this article too" stuff.

Most people would be hard pressed not to believe a story like that, considering what the general fan base for most games is like. I’d certainly use a /s if I were doing that sort of thing, because I know few people will get that it was meant as a joke.

The director seemed to feel that these concerns were natural, but overstated.

Why that shitty, corrupt, evil, stupendously greedy fucking guy isn’t in prison for life I’ll never understand.

I always enjoy breaking games with Cheat Engine once I finish them without cheats. It’s incredibly satisfying to just blast your way through, or try absolutely insane tactics just because there’s nothing stopping you when resources/ammo are no longer an issue.

Remind me again, why is an esports team trading in the stock market?
