The problem is, if you cash in on an offer like that and move to a smaller platform, you are pretty much killing your own brand, unless you are dead certain that your audience will follow you anywhere you move to.

A quick Google search shows that (for 2019) Twitch took ~75% of the streaming market pie. Youtube was sitting back at ~22%

What you are feeling is envy, jealousy is when you are afraid someone will take something from you.

Everyone in the world (even those who know nothing of streaming or gaming) already knew that.

Funnily enough, he also made a video addressing that a while ago:

I like Jim Sterling, the guy makes some absolutely good points in his videos. Having said that, I also understand why a lot of people don’t like him. His entire persona (the one he uses in his videos at least) can be a bit “too much”.

It’s sad that it came down to this, but I guess it’s a sensible solution to a problem generated by one person’s inability to behave as a decent human being.

It might look a bit less creepy if they painted the whole mask, instead of just a portion in the middle. This way it looks like a they cut a hole so you could see them smile.

Remember when “big streamers” left Twitch, and it was kind of a big deal? Now they go back, and it’s kind of a big deal as well. Almost like very few people were willing to follow streamers around to other places. As if the platform is actually way more important than any of the entertainers in it.

I think they are trying to copy Wired’s layout, which is horrendous to begin with. Stuff is all over the place, it makes it near impossible to just go and find new articles.

Never played Pikmin, but that game always reminds me of this one:

Probably because Netflix keeps throwing money at anything they can throw money at. And you know what? I’m glad they are.

Just a reminder to anyone working on doing renovations at home, make sure to shut the gas and water, also power lines if you don’t need it. Best case scenario, hitting the wrong section of a wall can mean screwing up and having to do a lot of extra work, worst case... you get the picture above.

And they look ugly as well. You’d think that kind of money would mean something more pleasing to the eye.

That’s because all life is precious... until it comes out of the womb, then it’s every man, woman, and child for themselves. And heavens forbid any of them end up depending on government subsidies to survive, because that’s (somehow) even worse!
