As stated in the article, it seems the gap in Rockstar stems from the fact that most people in the senior levels of the company (so those with high salaries) are mostly men.

In a perfect world you’d have several options to choose from, like changing only the font, or character sprites. Then again, it is a pretty old game, I’m happy that they will at least offer the option to switch to the old graphics.

There is a vertical limit, and (at least in vanilla) it is not that high up to be honest.

Games are getting more expensive to produce than ever, and fan expectations for the quality of the game experience is higher than ever- and as such, it is becoming a simple business reality that the standard, $60 initial purchase may not be enough to make these massive games profitable.
