Flat plane V8's have some dirty harmonics due to the fact that they are two unbalanced four cylinders sharing a common crank. They rev incredibly fast due to lighter rotating mass but torque takes a hit. I will keep my cross plane LS cars- Thanx

C4 is much worse to daily drive than a C3. C4's were loaded with terrible interiors and Opti-spark gut-wrenching failure. Malaise era C3 had relaxed spring rates and CB radio for 1980...whats not to love?

I have been driving a 2015 Escalade Platinum for a week. It is a press car with ~4200 miles and the interior, power, and level of sound insulation are years beyond what is available with the X5M or G63. The 400 overheating issue was from people putting non-400 heads on. The cooling holes are different. Or at least thats what I have heard. My POS 305 never overheats cause its too slow
