american men still aren’t allowed to carry bags? come on people

Amazing how much research, writing, and wheel reinventing has to be done here in the West just because we don’t regularly recognize the concept of face-saving, don’t routinely incorporate it into our belief systems and practices, and thereby don’t regularly engage in its usual activities :/
