Jerry Seinfeld showing up was something I had no idea I wanted. He brought a bolt of energy to the finale, and his interactions with Larry were hilarious.

You left out the best line:

“Opposing council”?? More importantly, just admit you didn’t really like this show. Giving this show a B is absurd. I thought it was at least an A-. AV Club’s reviews this season have been terrible with zero insight, written by someone who does not get the show.

The key toss was very funny.

Sure, cause a title with male/female name on a show written by a mega liberal just screams “transphobic.” Give us all a break.

You have to understand that everything that comes out of Leon’s mouth on Curb is JB Smoove’s writing or improv and cannot be held accountable to any white people and he can say anything he wants.

That whole first paragraph seemed to be about what the episode was not about, which, y’know, kind of defeats the purpose of a review.

This is gonna end with Larry in jail like the Seinfeld finale, isn’t it.

Bruce Fucking Springsteen. Killed me when he called Larry a “Floor fucker.”

That’s an obvious lie. He gave positive reviews to multiple slashers. He gave Halloween 4/4 stars. Most slashers are garbage, and giving bad reviews to garbage movies is not “moral panic.”

So, she was “the one”.

It’s a nod to a previous episode in this season when Leon compliments Freddy on his jacket and Freddy gets/gives him the jacket. The two of them surmise that if you compliment someone on something that person will be so honored that you like their taste/style they will just give you it or get you the same exact one. La

What? How is not bringing up something that Wahlberg did 30+ years ago constantly an example of an “amnesiac, post-Trump pop culture”? It was incredibly shitty behavior and if you want to continue to personally be mad at him, that’s cool. But he’s apologized for it repeatedly and attempted to make amends and it has

At least Marky Mark hasn’t run for president.

It was about 50 percent King of Comedy, 30 percent Taxi Driver, 20 percent the mind of the man who made the Hangover films.

I dunno, I think Baldwin might have missed his shot.

I disagree. Turning off the comments is probably a desperate attempt to save it.

There was, but I think the people who called Joker a “remake” of King of Comedy vastly overestimated how much.

The first one made a billions dollars, so all the key people’s fees went through the roof.

Be fair. It wasn’t entirely a Taxi Driver ripoff. There was a fair bit of The King of Comedy in there too.
