What does the rapper Drake have to do with this
Shades of the ‘30 Rock’ episode where Jack and his ex fight over an Arby’s they co-own.
Well I didn’t anticipate tearing up when I signed into the AV Club today but here we are. Thanks for your kind words. Here’s hoping things keep getting better.
I’m so sorry that happened to you. Even where I live we have a long way to go. The process of getting justice is an incredibly difficult road for most victims, and I’m certainly not going to pretend that everyone comes out of the process satisfied with the result.
Drake abused his girlfriend and is a pedophile. Does this excuse those things, make them less awful or can we still not like him for those things?
I mean he doesn’t seem to be smacking the kids around at least, but yes, still seems like a pretty big asshole move considering it’s ultimately Jolie and the kids who had to deal with the consequences of his actions.
Has he changed? It's pretty shitty to sue her over this.
I think Pitt was an abusive husband during the end of the marriage due to his addiction, and he’s not that kind of person in sobriety (at least to that degree).
I just want to share, because I think sometimes it’s easy to feel despair when dealing with these huge entrenched problems: In my experience the impact of ‘Me Too’ has been absolutely seismic.
Hot take. Beetlejuice wasn’t that great, it benefitted greatly from a giddy ‘WTF am I watching right now?’ feeling that quickly disappears on subsequent viewings. Burton was always a great production designer, not really much of storyteller.
I don’t have any experience watching Lemon, but this was just journalism 101 considering Elon’s statements were all 100% public...and on the platform he owns so double newsworthy. Lemon wasn’t being some hardcore journalist, Elon is jjust a snowflake. Good lord.
That’s a Trump level burn right there.
“Don ‘Veruca Salt’ [lemon emoji]”
I’d be willing to believe Lemon asked for payment upfront at least, nor would I blame him.
That’s how we know it was a Musk lie. If you give someone a free Cybertruck, the next search on their phone will be “how to resell a Cybertruck, or better yet, set it on fire for Insta likes”
There are so many stupid fucking Musk quotes to choose from, but one of the first is great: “I don’t have to answer questions from reporters. Don, the only reason I’m doing this interview is because you’re on the X platform and you asked for it. Otherwise, I would not do this interview.”
Yup. Hiring a reporter to interview you and then throwing a toddler-like tantrum when they ask a few tough but obvious questions is the most Elon Musk move imaginable.
Don Lemon is not Walter Cronkite or even a particularly good person, but it sure sounds like he committed the cardinal sin of actually doing the job of a journalist and that kind of thing would NEVER be welcome in Elon’s world.
Larry saying, “FUCK YOU!” to the inspirational quotes on the text chain pretty much sums up the human experience.
