On that note as well; what is ‘sexually teasing’ someone? Trying to appeal to them sexually, but not being available to them? Coz if that’s the case, Britney Spears spent the late nineties ‘queerbaiting’ me.

How many articles about this shit so far?

He’s a working comic. If you follow the industry you know him. But I put him in the same class as, say, Salvo Maniscalco, where like, he’s making bank, always working crowded rooms, clearly successful at his craft, you may have seen random clips of him floating around online, but your average person doesn’t know who

I’m not here to excuse *The Media* of all entities for their various and pernicious sins, but it seems weird to heap altogether too much blame on them when this is clearly a problem that is 99% Swifties’ aggregate delusions. Papers and blogs are just reporting this stuff, they’re not the ones ginning it up.

I agree, it’s a fun and silly and pervy movie. The movie finds a way to remind us that shock value still has value, and can be done in a way that entertains us. The criticisms feel shallow since the movie isn’t trying to go deep.

It’s weird that a director doesn’t want his audience to have (or express) an opinion about his films.

You’re not alone. There’s dozens of people like you! Dozens!

Yes, Chef.

So Dershowitz is equating what he did with wartime rape and torture? Sounds about right.

I’m actually surprised that they never had a reality show.

I don’t think it’s against actors doing that, but in the movie Natalie Portman’s character is so desperate to humanize this pedophile, that she dehumanizes the actual victim and uses him as a tool to gather information for her own gains. I don’t think there’s really any humanity to Moore’s character, except that

The movie is pretty good. It gets overwhelmed by the musical score, which is weird. The other thing is that no matter the “ick” factor re the couple in the movie- the real life story is SO MUCH WORSE. It almost seemed sanitized for public viewing. The real Mary Kay was undeniably a monster. He was a CHILD. She never

If actors or directors think that their films will be better by talking to the real-life people they’re portraying, or who inspired their fictional stories, more power to them.  But there’s just no obligation to give famous people any control over how they’re presented, and doing so would likely be detrimental to the

Yeah. Give me cheap porn versions dammit!

It’s not my intent to disagree with you ... I support your take ... just want to add:

You know, I assumed about half of this without knowing anything about the case.
