Know what would make a bigger difference in performance than all the aero / horsepower / exhaust / ricer points - just moving the driven wheels to the back. I’ve been driving the sedan version of the Civic for a year now and cannot imagine this car being anything close to a “performance” package in a front wheel drive…

There is a reason why these cars have come down so much in price, and a big part of it is the parts bin they assembled these things from (pun intended) and your statement about “maintance free” being about as wrong as possible.
