Without reading the actual game descriptions, I present to you my own from just watching the videos:

A lot of these are just a byproduct of squash and stretch animation and are not meant to really be analyzed frame by frame. Anime is usually more rigid, but it's not unheard of for things to be deformed a bit in the name of more fluid motion, see FLCL or Kill la Kill for prime examples.
