You are correct we don’t know. There is a ton of uncertainty in life. Here is what I do know. I have a friend who’s daughter is a division one athlete in college. They are prisoners. No contact outside their roommates. They also have not been allowed to officially practice yet with coaches. Many players (around 50) hav

So we just stop education, because that is what we are getting into. Students who are well off will be fine, but when 75-80% of my students can’t join a zoom call or watch a YouTube video because they don’t have basic internet access then that is a problem. A virus is just that something that will make people sick,

I am a high school teacher in a small rural community with internet access to about 20% of my students with better than dial up. I will gladly go back to school as a teacher, my students need me. Just like people need nurses, doctors, waiters/waitresses, Walmart workers, among many others I will gladly do my part. Mind

Also my students, about 20% have something better than old school dial up internet.

I figure schools are there for the students not me. I could go get a job in the private sector with my degree make more and not be around students. But that is not what I chose, I love being a teacher and it is my job. I feel like it is my duty to be in the classroom. If I had covid then I wouldn't expect the doctor

I am a teacher at a great school, and when a parent takes a student out to homeschool it works about 5% of the time. The reason it doesn’t work 95% of the time is most parents are working, or they want no business actually teaching their kid. So they sit them in front of a computer (to where the kids who come back to

Everyone uses statistics to back their case. There are some who use it correct, but it is not an exact science. Ask a weather person. You take the data you have and predict the future. The more data you get the better your prediction may be. But it still is a prediction based on outliers and very minimal data (we only

My dad has always said “statistics never lie, but liars use statistics.”

What percentage of people would you say are just bad people no matter the race?

Excuse me if I don’t believe any governments or news (including our own).  I can only tell you what I experienced. I thought I was helping out by sharing what happened to me and my family. I honestly believe no one knows when, where or how this started. There are only hypotheses.

My point is nothing about immunity. My point is I think this has been circling around a lot longer than people think. We had about nine people in our local small (maybe 40 people) old person’s home die in a week in early February from what we assumed was the flu which we just chalked it up to bad luck. The statistics

So around mlk jr weekend, I got as sick as I have ever been. Fever, chills, coughing and aches all over. I went to the doctor and they tested for both flus, nothing. My kids and wife got nothing. My parents (in their 60's) both had the same thing. My mom developed pneumonia, but recovered. We all couldn’t smell or tast

Try adding century link to the equation.

We are saving to pay off our house. We feel that we can pay it off in two years. We have budgeted in all of our bills along with gas and food. Every two weeks we take out $60 apiece to spend on random crap and the rest of our money goes toward our house. Once we have that paid off, we will have zero debt!

A way to get around being in debt is start putting back money for Christmas in July or August. It doesn’t have to be much, $50 every two weeks. You would be surprised how much money you would have saved up by December for gifts. This year I put $75 back and had close to $800 by the time we started buying gifts.

If you ever end up in the metropolis of Urbana, Ohio check out the Half Day Cafe. Outstanding breakfast!

This happened in my hometown! Here is the local news article about it.

Are we in high school? It seems like every story about the NBA is who is dating who or who wants to break up with who. Seriously feels like high school.
