I’m on the other side of that fence. I owned a ‘85 GT hatchback t-top...that was the hotness. I despise the nose of the SVO.

You think GM did a bad job of marketing the Cruze hatch? They did a whole building built around the car commercial about it with the chunky blonde trying to be funny by saying “business up front and party in the back” I saw that commercial so many times I both fell in and out of love with that chunky blonde.

The final generation of the Grand Prix had the LS4 303hp V8 as the engine in the GXP trim.

My buddy owns a 1st gen ‘busa. I rode it once and that was enough for me. I stuck with my little ZX6R and have been more than happy with the power it has.

To be fair, the LA1 engine from 1999-early 2003 had that horrible lower intake gasket failure problem. And to get so little power, 175hp, out of so much displacement is really a tick in the negative column. Something like that needed to be at least 220hp. Not sure if it works in the Aztek, but I know the Grand Ams

It’s ugly. That overhead from the driver side perspective is hideous. I’ll stick with my TJ and just buy a regular pickup if I feel the need.

I’m curious to see what the towing capacity is rated at. Normal Wranglers are at 3,500lbs. A pickup, even a smaller one now, needs to be able to tow at least 5,000lbs...especially if they price this against other mainstay pickups.

I had a 2000 Grand Am and bought a 2009 G6 and owned both at the same time. I really felt the Grand Am’s interior had a dated look but was more comfortable because it used soft plastics in areas where I touch. The G6 interior looks a little better but it has hard plastic in a lot of places I touch...like the door. And

after building a gigantic garage for them, I would scour ebay and BAT and buy vehicles from there. Then fly to where the vehicle is located and drive it home. But only unique oddball cars. It combines vacations with wanton reckless car buying.

not entirely crazy, but weird to me. I was trading in my ‘95 Dodge Avenger on a ‘00 Jeep Grand Cherokee at this use car lot. So they asked for the keys to the Avenger so they could check it out while I was out test driving the GC...to determine the value of it supposedly. So when my Avenger wasn’t on the lot when I

definitely the Audiobahn flame series.

We generally lease with a $1 buy price at the end. So basically a 3 year financing deal. (we rotate patrol cars every 3 years)

I think I read somewhere that Ford is phasing out the sedan after the current model year. They did not sell nearly as well as the Explorer has.

You used 1 key word that is driving my particular employer’s decision to go with the Explorer over the sedans....space/size. Our LEO actually complained about how small the Ford sedan (based on the Taurus platform) was and that they prefer the Explorer because it is larger and more comfortable. We can’t afford the

The intake manifold gasket issue was fixed with 2003 models. And the 3.4 itself was not a horrible engine...just slightly underpowered for its displacement. Serviceable is what I’d call the engine. The rest of the Aztek...eh GM cheap interiors make sense for a vehicle that is designed to be a do all vehicle...doesn’t

nah, that 3.4L has 50k miles before it dumps its head gasket. Being a 2003 it should be outside the LIM gasket issue. I had over 225k on my 3.4L when I sold it and I see it still puttering around town 2 years later.

One of the few times when Miata isn’t the answer...Aztek fills in the gap.

I think everyone is misinterpreting what the OP meant by #8. It isn’t so much about the scientific testing of whether a 4WD can stop faster than a 2WD vehicle...it is more about how aggressively those people in 4WD drive and end up driving over their or their vehicle’s ability.

These are just now starting to appreciate in value. Getting in at this low of a cost could prove to be a worthwhile investment if you can fix it up on a slim budget

My dad always talks about the 1970 Chevelle SS he had and how after 11 months he had racked up 15 points on his license so he had to sell it and bought a Corvair.
