How is it that in your list of movies for your non-stop flight you failed to include the movie Non-stop with Liam Neeson?
I didn’t think of that...you’re absolutely right. My only, very weak rebuttal, would be cartridges vs discs.
I don’t really see the Playstation as “retro” Yeah it is older...but it is mid to late 90's and hung around for a long time. It doesn’t feel retro...it just looks outdated. For me “retro” ends at the N64 generation.
and to shorteroh’s point, it isn’t actually costing Detroit anything. The taxes they get from that run down building are basically nothing in the grand scheme of things. So Detroit isn’t giving Ford money, they are just refusing to take Ford’s money in return Ford renovates the eyesore of a building and hopefully…
A part missing from this story here on Jalopnik is that the $104M is just Detroit’s portion of the tax incentives Ford has asked for. In total Ford is asking for $240M in tax incentives for this project.
This is in Michigan...he would have had a few pops...not sodas. And this happened in Bath Township, Mi which has one of the best LEO Facebook pages ever.
Not me, but my friend damaged my car...we had just left the gym after working out and stopped at a gas station...as he is walking back to the car his legs just give out and he face plants into my front fender, caving it in.
And yet again the answer is, Pontiac Aztek...spend the extra money on putting crate engine in and call it a day.
I think it goes to the Pontiac Aztek. Decent enough V6, AWD for the inclement weather zones, plenty of space for you morons with kids, a cooler to put juice boxes in, fold down seats for transportation of larger items, a real tailgate for parties. I think it checks every box.
Ford can try to promise a 3mpg increase in fuel economy, but simply put, it won’t be realized in the real world. LEO drive their patrol vehicles like they are stolen. We have over 20 Police Explorers in our fleet...none do better than 13mpg
Can we use those miles to send them back to where they came from with instructions on how to do it properly next time?
