What about the crew that likely experienced terror during this event?

Yep, yes you can. Period. Not everyone that rich is a sweet and empathetic person, but don’t lose your humanity by mocking them and their crew for going through terror like that.

I would not revel in the Bezos’ loss and terror if this happened to him and his crew. Good God, what’s wrong with having empathy and rising above?

Okay. Does that make the terror he and his crew experienced worthy of mockery? They’re still human beings.

Bullshit. Also, these are human beings experiencing a frightening event. Are the engineer, cook, captain, and housekeeper all horrible people too, or just folks looking for work? I’ve met a number of people who work large yachts, and they’re  just people doing their jobs.

Wow! You did not rise above and have not shown any capacity for empathy. People on that boat experienced terror, and we should not dismiss what they went through because of insurance.

I’m considering one soon too. Agreed on the whackiness of the more expensive models. Is this your first Range Rover? I have never owned one.

I was under the impression that the front wheels were getting energy recovery next season. Can you confirm that? If that’s the case, then the drivers will be able to recover significantly more energy for the batteries as compared to having energy recover for the rear wheels only.

I hope Petersen sell socks with this print! It’s time to refresh my Warhol sock collection.

Agreed on the GA viewing options. I scored a VIP pass to the race on Saturday and had great viewing options, but the stands were poorly thought out. I got to meet Michael Andretti, and the Avalanche drivers though, and that was one helluva great experience.

Volvo! Hands down the best seats I’ve ever driven or ridden in for a non super luxury vehicle.

A steal at that price! Now, what if it was blue?

Came here to say the same thing. As an ex racer who trained in Amador county and along the California coast, this isn’t a surprising speed. It isn’t something we’d do every day, but it’s not unusual. My biggest concerns with these speeds is overheating my brakes coning into a turn. The video is beautifully shot

Great advice that I could definitely use right now!

It’s never that simple at these levels of performance.

We just picked up a 2017 V90 CC with under 30K miles for far less than we’d have paid at a dealership. It was marginally more than what I’d have expected without the used car inflation we’re seeing, but we had the upper hand because of the price. We paid $42.5k for it (EVERY option plus a 10 year 100k mile warranty),

Totally agreed. The only car in our regular fleet that we’re tired of is a 2010 Honda Fit. The 2006 Frontier and 2017 V90 CC will probably reach 300k miles before we dump them. My 1982 928S is a regular driver too, but those old Porsches were decades ahead of anything else when they came out.

And still with both ears!

Rad!

I sense some sarcasm. :)
