S10 2.2 5-speed or a Ranger 2.3 5-speed!! They’re both very easy to navigate for repairs and upgrades, have plenty of aftermarket support, you can get cheap and easy parts from many auto parts stores the same day, and there are loads to choose from.

I had a close call similar to this on a motorcycle once and I check EVERY intersection before I enter now. If it’s hard to see each way, then I slow down before entering to make sure it’s clear. Annoying? Maybe. Do I forget sometimes in my truck? Yes. Do I forget on my motorcycle? NEVER!
