Consider this: Blizzard had to deal with constant questions and embarrassment after announcing Titan with nothing to show, and then watching it go through development hell for a decade.
If only they remembered to add the point and fun....
I have a feeling the video exists more for this purpose than ‘just because they can’.
Just to clarify on some of the replies you’re getting: While it’s true that swords, emotes, and certain super abilities will switch your view to third-person, these are pretty minor considerations that seem to miss the heart of your question. The vast, vast majority of your time is spent in first-person and you do not…
It switches based on certain criteria, if you are emoting, using a sword, using a super, using some of the melee abilities, or doing some kind of special objective, you are in third person. Otherwise though it is first person.
Some weapons and super abilities switch you to 3rd person.
when you’re using a sword it switches to third person
Man, I love it when the 1% sticks it to the *checks notes* municipalities that are chronically underfunded.
Can anyone explain to me why people would have any reason at all to look forward to this game? It seems like such a disaster.
Just all boycott the game already to show them we DON’T want a multiplayer online Fallout, especially one that is clobbered together using this 6 years old engine
If you can afford those super cars you can afford the taxes.
Finally finished this game in 2018, made out with the weapon vendor. It made sense, because in the end mine truly was a story about the love between a man and the guy who sold him his murder tools.
I watched roughly the first hour of your stream, and what I saw just looked like Borderlands without the humor, charm, or wild guns and abilities, which is basically everything that make that series worth playing
I mean, if you look at this in the context of the previous Bethesda-published Fallouts’ release schedule, you’re right in saying that it’s not a replacement for a new numbered Fallout—instead, it’s a replacement for this cycle’s New Vegas, which was the last ‘bonus spin-off game co-developed with another studio.’
If it wasn’t for the buzz around the Beta I’d have totally forgotten this game existed. Which is likely a good thing as honestly there are already a ton of other games to be excited for, dont need to love em all.
What a waste of a setting and a misstep for the series.
Clearly there are very fine people on both sides
Lol yeah no. It was actually really well done, and about on par with Bethesda or Obsidian’s VAs.
Go to Poland. It will all make sense. It’s not a particularly progressive place.
