Of all the updates to Pokemon’s systems they could do I would rank voice acting pretty low on the list. They need to really speed up those battles. Make them snappy and interesting. Turn based JRPGs need to examine Persona and take some notes.

Yeah though then I wonder if it’s worth it if you are going to not use that part of the game all together. Might pull out my wife’s yoga mat and see if that could muffle the sound before commiting.
