Yup. It was amusing. I chuckled.

Lol, Look dude, I know we aren’t entitled to GAME A or GAME B, this is just a discussion, I’m a nobody on Kotaku throwing out an opinion not some crazed media person forming up a group of protesters outside of Blizzard. Anyway, one thing since you brought it up:
I don’t disagree with that. I said it feels like a shame to build up such a world and characters for multiplayer shooter where all the story and characters don’t really matter. I mean, there are some multiplayer games I like but I’d imagine we’d all be pretty perplexed if Hearthstone or Fortune Street ended up…
So uh, when can those of us that aren’t into multiplayer games get a really cool single player story driven game about these characters? It feels like such a shame to build up such a world and characters and just have them randomly kill each other over and over for no reason.
So is this basically just MHX v2? Can’t feel too excited about that tbh. We’ll see. Would have prefered MH5 already.
Hey whatever gets you going dude
You can never have too much good butt. The internet loves butt.
You and me both dude. All we can do is just enjoy it and not worry too much about what other folks are doing.
For just a split second I thought this was SF Alpha ChunLi. Anyway, whatever the case I’m not going to complain Nintendo wants to put some more eye candy out there for everyone to enjoy.
Oh wow, that would have been handy. Honestly I lost track of what they wanted me to do so I never got past the first rank with them.
I just finished my playthrough, I went with Makoto too. She is cute, has the best outfit. Sad she loses her cool motorcycle tho
Fair enough, maybe I’m expecting too much from a Fire Emblem story.
Really not a fan of what they did to the guy who is super clearly the bad guy now. Before he looked like a shady religious figure in bad lighting, now he is just a straight up blue monster man. I mean could we even for a moment pretend he isn’t the bad guy? No suspense, no shock, nope just here is the boogeyman. Oh…
I get what you are saying. That works especially in games that aren’t linear stories. Not sure I’d agree it works ok with a game like Persona. Unless the viewer really just wants to play the battle system, they can get most of the impact of Persona just from watching someone else play it. At that point are we really…
I don’t disagree that the player is part of the experience, but that one part, JUST that one part is what makes the discrepancy from paying $0 to watch the entire game, to $60 to play it yourself?
Probably depends on the game. I bought Cities Skyline because youtube players proved through hours of gameplay video that the game worked and was great. At the same time I watched a let’s play of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and have no intention to buy that game despite how pretty it is and how interesting the…
I’m honestly kind of surprised at the backlash over this. I think we’ve become so used to the idea of streaming and let’s plays that maybe we are letting ourselves be okay with it just because it’s so common.
I have to agree. We don’t allow people to just stream 2 hour movies, why would a 100+ hour narrative heavy RPG be okay? Is the value of all the work that goes into the game $0? Is it just the fact that you control it with your own input that warrants the $60 price? It’s a weird situation...
I mean you aren’t wrong I guess but Uncharted had just a tiny fraction of people chatting compared to Witcher 3.
