That was my thought exactly. This just makes me want more MGSV. I mean, maybe if they zannied up their story a bit instead of just gotta stop drugs. Throw ridable robots and other antics in there and I’d be interested. I just can’t put the thought of MGSV out of my mind when I watched that.

Now that you mention it yeah, that’s an interesting point. I wouldn’t mind if you eventually get a machine gun or you’re upgrading the rifle you start with. From the last trailer I had thought the rifle she was carrying was like a last resort self defence sort of thing where you could use it but would need to rely on

Let me play as someone other than COOL BRO GUY and I’m in.

Have to admit, as somehow who was super excited about this, I dig the vibe of the 2015 trailer a lot more. This felt so standard shooty shooty, last years trailer had me feeling like this was going to be more about exploring and surviving this cool hostile planet with the help of your robot friend, not just shoot

So excited to see them showing off the Mako. Really missed that thing in the last 2 games. Personally 1 is my favorite because of the extra exploration you can do and all the extra looting. I know it got to be kind of a chore eventually when you ended up with like 100 guns at the end of a mission but I still enjoyed

I’d love to see the return of different or upgradable armor/ tunics but I’m definitely with you in that I’d love to have that blue shirt be the default look.

I’m taking it as this was a playable party member we don’t know/remember because in a trip to the past we accidently killed his ancestor. So he went poof, Back to the Future style. Though honestly I don’t remember the CT gang killing many humans in the game so idk how this all works out anyway.

As someone who had only played the first game this looks incredibly confusing. I guess even though its KH 2 +whatever I can’t really just jump into this one huh?

Well at the very least you don’t have to use him in your party for most of the game if I’m remembering right.

I used to wear contacts but I felt myself getting lazy with them. sleeping in them, not just for a day to two either. Eventually I had a rebate to get a free pair of glasses, cheapest glasses you could get really, but hell, 5 years later I’m still using them instead of contacts. Saves money and I don’t have to worry

I loved Ni No Kuni. So cute so charming, and the in game spell book is probably the all time best in game book I have ever seen implemented.

Yeah I played this as a kid and didn’t really understand that part. My cousins had the code written down and we just used that. I definitely don’t remember reading the manual or letter.

Now that’s an idea I’ve never even considered. Sign me up for a modern submarine RPG adventure through the seas fighting aliens and monsters. Man, I’d be all for that.

Oh wow, haha, awesome.

How are they handling the whole submarine code thing?

Even if this doesn’t turn out to be 100% what I want, I feel like I really want to support this effort to return to their roots and bringing it out to the west on Steam. Thankfully, despite some minor nitpicks, I think it’s looking pretty good so far!

Surprising? Talented artists put out wide variety of extremely attractive characters and people are surprised it gave rise to a whole bunch of porn? THAT is the surprising part really.

I never played 1 or 2 but I loved 3. It’s ridiculously huge and the quests feel substantial, never video gamey if that makes sense.

Generic shooter is exactly the feeling I’m getting from this. I loved Doom, played the hell out of Doom 2 as a kid but man, there is just a couple things about this that really annoy me. I’ll probably play it one day cause com’on you’ve just got to, but for now I don’t think I feel like risking 60 bucks on this.

Out of curiousity, how did the mods you used make the game easier?
