I might really think abort trying this. Liked civ 5 alot and ck3 is among one of mye fav games. What about hoi4 and stellaris i might be wrong, if not i found of what i have played of both too be two good 4x games. I get the impression Stellaris might be both 4x and grand strategy

I highly recommend the Battletech Advanced 3062 (BTA3062) mod if you get bored with the base game. It adds a metric-fuck-ton of new mechs, vehicles, and equipment, and changes the combat mechanics of the base game just enough that light mechs stay useful throughout your career.

In HBS’ Battletech game (which is fantastic) you can right click on enemy ‘mechs and vehicles and see their current armour, weapons, structure, etc, and it’s absolutely a must to succeed at the game.
