And, I can't see the white/gold. At all. I tried it on my laptop, my work computer, the cell phones of 5 people, my cell phone. I just don't even see how white/gold is a possibility.

OH MY GOD THAT'S SO TRIPPY

It's true. Where you see black people, I see gold people. Where you see white people, I see blue people. Wait. I think I'm doing this wrong. I'm calling the ACLU.

THIS IS THE BEST HALLOWEEN COSTUME EVER HOLY SHIT

Team Kaling.

I swear the dress is pulling one of those "stare at me long enough and I mess with your rods or cones or something" things.

A coworker just asked over her cubicle how anyone sees it as white/gold. Without skipping a beat I replied from mine, "because they're stupid."

Has anyone bought this dress? I was thinking of getting it and covering it in paint or something for halloween.

That's still not white. What on earth? Look at your computer like a normal person.

Still blue and black.

This is still blue and black, and you're a filthy liar.

STOP IT! YOU'RE TEARING THIS FAMILY APART!

For the real life dress maybe, but the reason everyone is trying to shove a stick of dynamite in each other's asses tonight is this particular picture and how it appears to human eyes.

Yes, how dare people have fun and enjoy the sense of community that comes along with something like this. How tragic that we take a break amidst the terribleness of the world to enjoy a shared something. Man, humanity is going down the drain fast!

Thank you for going off argument and insulting me personally. For the record, I am not a troll. I am on Jezebel often and usually get very good responses to my comments. Also for the record, I happen to think that locs are beautiful and Zendaya looked beautiful. Well, frankly, I didn't love the dress. It was ok,

I attended the wedding of a family friend years ago where the groom took a few minutes to do something similar with the bride's daughters who were around five and nine. He gave them both special necklaces so they'd "have a symbol like the ring I'm giving your mom" and I fucking lost it. This was the same kid that

One of my best friends was proposed to by her now-fiance and his son. It wasn't, "will you marry me?" it was, "will you become a part of our family?" Then her fiance gave her a ring and his son gave her a pretty necklace. It was so sweet, she loves that kid as much as his dad.

I just remembered what my handle was. I hold the unpopular opinion that the US version is better. It's just all over more interesting, visually, pacing wise, and story wise. It's closer to the book. Please don't tell me the Swedish actors look "like regular people" that is not how you rate a movie.

I thought the originals were brilliant but I completely and totally preferred the US version. Rooney Mara is my head canon Lisbeth and I fucking LOVED HER. She played her exactly the way she existed in my head and I am irrationally sad about this.
