OK, perhaps “pointlessly” was a poor choice of word. What I meant was, his own anger precluded anything other than the resolution that happened, which made him the architect of his own downfall. He wasn’t returning to Wakanda to find out about himself or his past, just to gain weapons and soldiers via genetic lottery.

Look, I’m a huge MCU fan from the get-go (loyal Agents of Shield viewer here), but honestly, Black Panther was not Oscar-worthy and this is all a lot of noise about nothing. After all the hype and Brinks trucks rolling up to Disney’s house, it was really just an average origin story movie between two characters that

Obnoxious leftists and right-wingers have a tendency to pass this mantle back and forth

OK, here’s the deal: the Bond franchise can have Edgar Wright, if and only if his name gets completely disassociated with future Ant-Man projects over at Marvel. It is long past time for AV Club writers to STFU about that tenuous and ancient connection already.

Yay, you spoiled any potential surprise they might have had planned! Good for you! Your existence isn’t cruel and miserable at all, seriously!

Enjoy paying $80 for 6 episodes, Apple flunkies.

I’m kind of glad that I only have to encounter John Lovitz accidentally on The $100,000 Pyramid.

The Big Bang Theory is violence.

And isn’t that what war is really about, deep down?

Still too late for some network to save Dark Matter? Damn.

The real cheat is playing with auto-aim on.

This man is for the birds!

Why do all the TV posts to AV Club lately all seem to lack a clickable title on the main blog? Where is the headline??

Most broadcast networks wait until one point in time every year to announce what will be cancelled or renewed for the next season. Netflix can announce theirs whenever. And considering the speed at which Netflix has sometime renewed a series, even before that season aired, the delay on GLOW was significant.

Hey, Chavez, where is your headline? There’s literally no headline for this article.

I hope so too, but I’m not optimistic. I think Groening and the producers heard that people like Matt Berry because he’s got an interesting voice and failed to notice that he uses that voice in the service of interesting characters. They’ve dumped him into a cliched role and have reduced him delivering banal

The worst part is how those auto-play previews are clearly designed not to steer users to content, but to drive them to it against their will. I don’t want to see previews for The (Rapist) Ranch just because I happen to stop scrolling and happened to land on it. I’m the viewer; I should get to choose what I preview

Matt Berry is too good for this show, and is basically a wasted talent here.

Yeah, plus the fact that Elfo, a series main character, is not even in the last episode, at all. Like, not even to help us keep track of what happened to him after his last appearance in the episode prior. (No spoilers.)

Hasan Minhaj’s “I’m so above everything” schtick wears real thin, real fast. But he’s got that Y chromosome, so his show will probably run for a million years.
