Future Man is a hidden gem. It’s another project that uses its premise well through entirely subverting all expectations about it. “Wolf” was certainly a part of that, starting off as your stereotypical “future-war-for-humanity’s-survival-veteran badass” and then ending up as something very, very different.

Batman needs a fucking cultural vacation, at this point, where people can get to forget about him and his bullshit for a while. 10 years or more, at least. Instead, DC’s going the opposite way, with Batman in everything they’re doing, it seems. Oh well, if that’s how they want to ruin a character, he’s their property.

Yeah, it was enough to see Peter choking up at the memory, without making the audience have to relive the moment with him.

The joke is in the placement of the colon. (It usually is, in most cases.*wink*)

I love the episode when Brock’s License to Kill expired and the bartender kept making fun of his mullet.

I wonder if Frasier is the kind of character that would work in a Curb Your Enthusiasm style improv comedy. He seems like he has just the right levels of curmudgeon and temper to make it potentially viable.

So it’s OK to skip the investigation if you have a strong enough hunch as to what it will prove in advance? Forget bringing in the professionals, because of what your gut tell you? That’s ignorant on so many levels, it’s ridiculous.

Splinter is a poison that is slowly but surely infecting all of GMG.

Kirsten Gillibrand couldn’t even wait for a pause in which to investigate the claims. For someone she ostensibly called an ally for several years in the Senate. Are we supposed to respect her because she can’t control her knee-jerk responses like an actual adult would?

You would know.

LOL

Making It, with Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman, is a disappointingly bland reality show. They set up this big craft competition, but don’t even introduce the contestants by name in the first episode, or explain why the viewer sees people running from building to building during active challenges. Like, they clearly

OK, Chloe. Whatever you say, Chloe. Thanks for checking in, Chloe.

Better luck with your next false accusation, Chloe!

Why? Jurors get to see evidence, and judge people who claim to have it but don’t produce it accordingly.
