Count me among the fans of gated automatic shifters. My car is a stick-shift, but every time I find myself driving an automatic I find it a challenge to get the transmission into D or R without overshooting. I have a much easier time with the zig-zaggy automatics.

I was really hoping with the way this story was going, that they added some sort of mouse enemy in the game that you can tie up.

I played the entirety of the game on Hard, but when I got to Sigrun I dropped the difficulty to Normal...and then to Easy. I think a big reason why though is I was just really ready to be done with the game.

“Well shit, better reload my last save. Aw fuck, I last saved two hours ago? Well, I could probably do it in half that time now that I can skip through the dialog.”

I can’t wait to stream my Trails of Cold Steel playthrough where I talk to every NPC at least twice on every day, save scum so I can see all of the relationship-building scenes, and frequently do that thing where you go one way down a dungeon and after like twenty seconds go “wait, I think this is the critical path,

Deadspin has given Micky Calloway plenty of grief in his rookie year as the Mets manager, but lord almighty do the Tribe miss him as their pitching coach.

And regarding your third point, once you get to be as good as Trout, you just start getting intentionally walked a bunch. Which sucks! I went to an Angels game a few weeks ago specifically to see Trout and Ohtani, and Trout got walked twice. What a fucking letdown. Forget banning the shift, ban the intentional walk.

I haven’t yet played Hollow Knight so I have nothing meaningful to add, but when I was 4 years old I watched the Flukeman episode of the X-Files, and was so scared that I refused to poop for days. And I only finally agreed to poop again if my poor, saintly mother sat on the toilet with me. There is photographic

That invasion idea of having hostile guest PCs is awesome! Thanks for responding, and good luck running the campaign!

Have you incorporated invasions and/or jolly cooperation into the campaign? Any plans to include a Sen’s Fortress kinda place where they have to deal with a ton of traps? And do your players know to give each treasure chest a good wack before opening it?

It’s really awesome that you’re here in the comments answering questions! I was similarly curious about how you handled player death, since it’s such a core part of Dark Souls both in gameplay and in lore, so it’s cool that you’ve found a solution that works in D&D.

That headline...*chef’s kiss*

I’m sorry to hear that, I really enjoyed the coverage that Compete provided. I’m glad Maddy Myers is sticking on, buy I’ll be sad to see you and Eric go. Good luck in your future endeavors!

Soda Popinski’s has a long-standing deal where if you beat Mike Tyson in Punch-Out they will give you a free bottle of champagne.

The only thing that would make me love Ocasio-Cortez more is if she pulled a Deadspin and responded to Trump’s tweet with a hearty “go fuck yourself.”

The following are not known to be Stephen Miller’s phone number: 000-000-0000 thru 202-881-8640 and 202-881-8642 thru 999-999-9999

I thought at the very least that the kid must have called him a pejorative nickname, but he just called him Manu? Maybe there are some aspects of French culture that have been lost in translation, but I can’t comprehend that warranting such a ridiculous dressing down.

Those Soulcalibur cosplayers are such great sports. Thanks for the entertaining videos all E3, Tim.

In case you weren’t aware, DLC for the first Cuphead was announced as well. You can now play as a lady cup.

I’ve literally never played a second of Friday The 13th. It just bugged me that the commenter was using wildly inaccurate numbers to speculate on some ulterior motive. They have since corrected themselves to say that the past month’s peak was over 2,000, which is an entire order of magnitude off the original claim.
