So the Metroid series is officially dead and buried, right? To create a game that involves your playable character having a laser cannon for an arm, and to decide to use Mario over Samus for that game...that has to mean Nintendo has completely abandoned Metroid. Am I wrong?

For real. I don’t spend any time at all around kids, but I watch shady NBA streams that show Jumbotron footage instead of commercials. Literally 100% of the time they show a kid, the kid dabs badly about 40 times in the span of three seconds. I have no doubt that some kid shouted “You da real MVP” at Mr. Magary.

I really liked Boy And The Beast, but I actually wish it had been a TV show. The movie tries to fit a lot of story and world building in two hours, and suffers for it.

I’ve been seeing more and more weird bootleg stuff on SNES carts in used game stores these days. Zelda fan games, Pokemon R/G/Y, and Radical Dreamers are the ones I remember in particular. Yeah, you can transfer saves. That said, the save transfer is much more meaningful between the first and second game than it is between the second and third. If you switched platforms after the second game, the only thing you would miss out on is a bonus item you receive at the start of the third game.
