I remember when Final Fantasy IX came out, I surreptitiously packed my Playstation for our annual Christmas vacation to my grandparents’ house so I could continue playing it. I somehow forgot to pack a memory card; it was the longest week of my life.
And of course, the comments section is chock full of highlight truthers.
If Boogie averaged 27 and 10 while not playing hard, then the trade is upgraded from “highway robbery” to “actually absconding with an entire damn highway.”
I’m soooooo excited for Night In The Woods. It’s been a pleasure following the game’s development via Kickstarter updates, I can’t wait to play it.
You know they beat the AFC West team they played in the playoffs this year, right?
Oh yeah baby, gimme that Basic Black UI theme.
Loot box systems and the like should be regulated in the same way that slot machines are. Companies can say whatever bullshit they want about odds, while user can only guess on whether they’re telling the truth or not.
PSA: Don’t buy Quilted Northern, it’s owned by the Koch Brothers. Charmin is just as good, and Proctor & Gamble (probably) isn’t as evil.
And canonically she gets buffs as fuck. I’m a dude and I dream of having forearms that look as good as hers.

The bit of dialog right at the end implies something really smart: they’re baking save-scumming into the actual mechanics of the game. Everyone does it with every turn-based strategy game anyways, so incorporating that into the challenge of the gameplay is a great idea.
I’m guessing that 45 is only going to invite Brady, Belichick, and Kraft. That way he can say these guys weren’t ever even invited. You would think Brady and Belichick would deny such an invitation because they PUT THE TEAM FIRST and THEY DON’T TAKE DAYS OFF but would it really shock you to find out they’re…
To provide context to Hou’s protest, I quickly went through the Masters roster for this tournament and found 29 other women in a pool of 255 competitors. The odds of Hou drawing 7 women in 10 matches at random is incredibly low, especially if they don’t allow repeats within the 10 matches. So the organizer’s defense…
It’s basically because chess has a very male-dominated culture and player base that was and in some ways can still be very misogynistic, which drives women away from the game. The women-only division is an attempt at bringing women into the fold and developing their skills without having to deal with the culture.
Amazon puts this stuff on a separate service than Prime that I have to pay for? Gah. This looks so good, too.
The pre-launch hype for the PS2 and Wii was massive, so their success wasn’t that surprising, but the PS4 is on a similar trajectory despite much more subdued expectations. Why do you think the PS4 is such a runaway success, sales-wise?
What’s the best niche JRPG that isn’t Suikoden or Legend Of Hereos?
