I appreciate that we should all have the common sense to observe our surroundings and cross at our own risk.

No shit.  Pierre Curie would like to testify to this.....

You are correct. Brake hard and stay straight.

This fits into my “If a Thing is what you want, this is probable a good one to grab” philosophy. I mean, it’s pretty darn nice for what it is and you’d be hard pressed to find another or restore one to this standard for $12K. I suppose it’d be a fun runaround car if you lived in a resort town or had a house on the

I would question that loss in “value.”

Don’t hate the player, hate the game. Max is cleverly, and frustratingly exploiting a rule (guideline) which was originally created to rein him in (back when he was typically the attacker, not the defender).

What are your feelings for Dale Earnhardt?

Guess you never witnessed Aryton Senna before? If F1, race officials, and race stewards didn’t punish him before, then of course he’s going to keep doing it. Place the blame where it belongs, on F1.

You get in the way, and get everyone else all antsy and fussing, so your ass sit down and put your shoes back on. You can go jogging once you leave the airport.

Why don’t we skip the foreplay, fast forward 250 years and just shoot the first one in the head. I bet everyone else will sit the f*ck down and wait their turn!

This is assuming these people have shame. In my experience at least 75% do not. If arrest wasn’t an option they would gladly punch or bite people to get on the plane first.

Maybe I’m willfully ignoring inflation, but I can’t get to $8,500 on a 28-year-old truck with 280K miles on it, even if it is a Toyota. The fact that he mysteriously says “it would be my collection truck” also gives a strong whiff of “NO LOWBALLERS, I KNOW WHAT I HAVE!”  ND.

I’ve never understood the Toyota tax on their trucks. As soon as a Toyota has more than 4 cylinders it’s inefficient and even today they aren’t known for good fuel mileage.

Yes, my thoughts too. I don't know the sales volume but it seems a percentage would make sense instead of pure number of incidents. Sloppy writing in my opinion.

According to NHTSA data that tracked crashes while Level 2 autonomous driving systems were active between July 2021 and May of 2022, Tesla happens to have the highest number of crashes by a vast margin. Teslas reported 183 more crashes than second place Honda, and 263 more than third place Subaru in that same time

Real question: How is ASS any different than FSD, except at lower speeds? And since Tesla’s gone out of their way to declare that FSD actually needs a human to monitor things, why can ASS exist without one? How is this allowed?

New name brand tires? Running car? It’s a 200k mile turbo car but it’s in California. But for 3k that’s a risk i’m willing to take.

Three grand for running, driving, AWD, AND working AC? This is the definitive winter beater.

LOL if only we’d remembered that original version when it came to just-in-time inventory management and scheduling
