Manufacture a vehicle that is heavy enough that you can avoid some safety requirements since it is classified as a heavy duty truck and then act surprised when an insurer wants to insure it as a commercial vehicle.

I’m  in Ontario, to get a license plate for the car when you transfer ownership you have to get a Safety Standards Certificate, commonly referred to as a “safety”.  You can transfer ownership without it (“as is”) but cannot get the plates until you pass the safety inspection.

It would be nice to see the data. If he just hit redline or maybe went over by 50 rpm, that would be one thing, if he hit 500 rpm over the redline then that’s completely different.
