Pride? Surely you jest.

Who knew that when Donald said they were going to drain the swamp, he meant they were going to suck Washington dry?
MSRP is set by the manufacturer. It should be illegal to advertise with a MSRP that is not what the manufacturer has actually set.
Per the information and picture at https://www.thesmokinggun.com/documents/stupid/souped-up-camaro-019638 this is clearly a modified car. I’m still skeptical of the 199 mph number, are they sure they didn’t make it to 200? I’m betting whatever the cops used to get the number only goes to 199.
In this case the complaint was that the car would not start. Suit states it was a clutch switch replacement. No test drive required to verify that repair.
The fact that the service advisor felt that not only could he violate a customer’s clearly indicated terms for service on his car but also felt comfortable enough that he took another employee with him indicates a culture at this dealership that makes him liable.
NP, because if you want one of these, where are you going to get a better one for less money? An acquaintance had one years ago and said it was the fastest car he had ever driven and handled incredibly. Anything this old is going to take maintenance but this is a good base.
Was I wrong to laugh while watching that?
After seeing this I happened to notice that there is one for sale on Autotrader in Ontario. https://www.autotrader.ca/a/chevrolet/corvette/dunnville/ontario/19_12839409
They went from 144 in the same quarter last year to 316 in the second quarter of this year. But 119% is a more click-baity headline, even though technically correct.
Um, it was a Walmart delivery drone, so presumably it would have been able to carry a camera. Otherwise it would be pretty much pointless to use it for delivery. Also how do you think the drone operator positions it to drop the package? Hint, optical interfaces are involved.
When is a plane “drop” not a plane “drop”? When it’s a Jalopnik headline and article.
I’ve never understood why they don’t just have a robotic arm that moves a touch-screen close to your car and lets you order what you want. Nobody knows what I want better than I do. I also have significant hearing loss so whether it is a person, “AI” or offshore service, I often struggle to hear what they ask me. …
I get that you have a hate on for Stroll, but he’s not talentless. Is he a top talent, no. Until he got to F1, he actually had a slightly better record than George Russell. https://www.driverdb.com/head-to-head/lance-stroll/george-russell
Totally stock interior with a paint and decal package does not make a tribute car. At least put in some period correct racing buckets and a NASCAR style floor shifter (I know it won’t be totally correct because this is an auto). Decent $4000 car, but this price is insane.
This. How do you think electronic thermometers work? It’s not the sensor that is the issue, it’s the fact that the car is often sitting on top of asphalt or concrete and becoming a heat sink. The temperature display may not show actual “weather station ambient” temperature, but that is the temperature your car is…
That’s why my Volvo has a warning light come on showing potential ice when it gets within a few degrees of freezing temperatures.
Has Grimes been in the area?
Turn on your dome light while trying to start the vehicle. If the light doesn’t dim, but the starter does not crank, then the problem is not starter/battery. If the battery is just about dead, the light will dim and the starter will not crank. You may or may not hear a click in either situation. The click would be the…
Not quite the same, but this garage in Toronto sold for a high price but that was because a developer wanted to build a house on the lot.
