The difference is fascism and racism exist.   

Plus where is the market? How many taxis are there versus personally owned vehicles? Even if you captured 100% of the taxi market, how would that benefit your company more than capturing say 15% of the personal vehicle market?

Nobody designs cars for serviceability any more and haven’t for years. Remember the report about how far a body shop tore down a Rivian for a “simple” rear fender bender?

The price you saw is for those who were not willing to pay for FSD.   For those that did, the replacement wheel and tire are $3000.   If you buy into inflated promises you are good to pay inflated prices.

1st Gear: For years people were praising Tesla’s on-line purchase model and slamming dealerships. What do dealerships have that on-line doesn’t? Salespeople. Getting rid of them indicates that they weren’t adding to the bottom line. The mention of technicans though would worry me if I was a potential customer.

Adding weight to a trailer doesn’t cause any issues with towing.   /s

Who released the AI image?  If the politicians who approved and promoted the project did, then absolutely they deceived people.  If the company manufacturing and installing the signage did, then they intentionally deceived people.   Recently there was a lot of outrage over a Willy Wonka exhibit not meeting the AI…

With 96 shots fired, I can guarantee that not all of those were taken with a clear knowledge of what was in the background and what the bullets would hit when they missed their target. I am confident that there are not 96 bullet holes in the body of the target or in his car.

Exactly.   This might be an investment if it had 20-30K miles.  At 200K plus, it’s just a nice used car that you wouldn’t be afraid to drive.
