Absolutely understandable. If they hadn’t pushed for a 2 billion valuation and instead had grown regionally in areas conducive to scooter use and then gradually expanded their reach they would not have gotten their founders rich, but would likely still be in operation.

Problems with scooters as regular transportation: rain, snow, wind, distance, safety. For better or worse, most North American commuting is done at distances that exceed what scooters are reasonably capable of. I live in Canada, so substantial periods of the years have enough snow to make these unsafe and impractical.

You spelled delaying incorrectly.

“nearly 35 people were reduced from a chunk of ice”  sounds like a painful process.

It absolutely ends there. The WORST racing movie I have ever seen.  NASCAR should have been ashamed of being associated with this garbage in any way.

Is his other car a Mustang?

I prefer the approach that my Volvos have.  Physical headlight switch.  Leave it ON at all times, when you start the car the headlights are always on.  Whenever you shut off the car, the headlights turn off.  For those rare cases where you might not want the headlights on while the car is running, turn the headlight

I was going to say the Harlequin was a good deal if you were looking for one, and it’s gone.  So I was correct.

She loaded it.  The only reason to load it is to be able to fire it.  If you never meant to fire it, why would you load it. Oh, I know, to improve the balance as you hold it while not pointing it at someone you don’t want to shoot.

But you are making the assumption that criminals cannot use a gun defensively.  (Does that turn them into good guys with guns?)

Phones bad and distracting.  Laws must be passed to punish people that use them while driving.   Large screens that run across 90% of the dash and control everything in the car - selling feature by auto manufacturers.  Logic need not apply.

The challenge.

100%. I also have used hot (tap) water for years. I don’t use it except in extreme situations, but if you have 1/2" of ice on your windshield, your scraper isn’t going to touch it. Yes it will refreeze quickly, but in a much thinner layer that you can then use the scraper on. Never ever cracked a single piece of glass

$  vs $$ or $$$.    They also know that 95% of the people purchasing their products will never use the full capability of higher end tires.  Auto manufacturers will make changes that save them $5 per unit, premium tires add much more than that to the cost of a vehicle.

Nothing gets great traction on snow (note that there are many different types of snow conditions and optimal tires can vary depending on that).  Tall skinny tires get down through the snow to where they can get traction and are generally better than wide tires “floating” on top of the snow.  Airing down would only be

In Canada, the provinces of British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Quebec all have public auto insurance.

I think that proper engineering design can reduce the physical space for crumple zone needed. After all, the Smart car got a 4 star rating and there isn’t much room for crumple zone on those. But yes, more chassis energy absorption definitely improves occupant survivability.

The good guy with the gun is the one that got shot.

So are you saying that every military airframe has had at least 4 crashes in the past 2 years and killed 20 service members?

Too many of us look at this as “would I pay that?” and say NO. I know I do. However, if you really wanted this particular model, where are you ever going to find a better one? Colour is unfortunate, but if you really want a virtually perfect 95 Accord and money is not a concern for you - here is your car. That
