I saw the trailer and it looked too sad/upsetting for me. I wouldn’t want to watch Gorillas in the Mist during the holidays either or a movie about the hunting of Cecil the Lion for similar reasons.

EXACTLY. I hate this movie on principle, and on behalf of whales, with their names, and their language, and their familial structures.

I haven’t read the source material or seen the film but, as my boyfriend said after seeing the trailer “I think they might have misjudged the public’s attitude on the practice of whaling in making a movie where we’re rooting for whalers.”

Could we come up with a different label than plus size? Not sure what but it just seems so wrong. Normal sized? Average sized? I don’t have any thoughts but plus sized always gives me the thought of super sizing a meal deal.
