TBF almost all the other shows suffer from that criticism. Jessica Jones, Daredevil S2 and even some parts of Daredevil S1 suffered from episodes where nothing important happens. I guess how much that bothers you depends on how invested you are in the characters of the show and I was very much invested with Misty's

Lol so you only saw the first two episodes and yet somehow was able to form the opinion that the show is the worst thing. Hell I don't even mind if you just thought the first two episodes were bad but to make it seem as if you'd seen the whole show and thought it was bad is a bit of a stretch

Yeah Colter did a fine enough job but really struggled to sell some of the emotional side of the character. Though I would say I thought he was good when giving the quick quips and comebacks and played the humorous side of Luke well. Overall, the character himself was well written and had a good arc through the show

Yeah thats a fair point. I still happened to enjoy a lot about the show(way more than I didn't) and was bummed with the route they went with in its second half but I believe there's still more in there they can explore with even Luke himself going forward. Hopefully they don't make the same mistake and write a tighter

I guess that can be a problem that's why with regards to him it tends to be more about his surroundings and how his actions or those of others affects people around him. That's why harlem and its community and characters became a major part of the show. If you can sell on the characters around him and the community,

I would disagree with your point especially with regards to Luke Cage. In fact I think they have much more to work with in terms of a second season that would be way more interesting than the first

TBF Luke Cage was pretty cheesy throughout. By episode three we had gotten a rocket missile fired into a building and in the second half it pretty much went straight up comicbook silly and a lot seemed to have hated that part of the show(though admittedly there were other problems aswel). I think that show especially
