Home Run Inn has freaking outstanding frozen pizzas. By far the best overall frozen pizza I’ve ever had, and better than some big chain pizzas are fresh.  The crust is amazing.  They are probably relatively local to Chicago though.

I swear I saw a post exactly like this not too long ago. Recycling content or just lazy?

Anything potato...I’m down for it. I have a packet in my pantry for those emergencies when you need mashed potatoes, like, NOW.  I wouldn’t serve them to friends or family, but the belly wants what the belly wants and sometimes a packet of potato flakes does me right.

Same, but Wisconsin rather than Kansas.

They’re also high school freshmen. Their parents have been throwing pepperoni, cheese and occasionally all-veggie pizzas in front of them their whole lives. I suspect there are plenty of freshmen in 2022 who’ve never encountered a Hawaiian pizza and even more who would freak out at being asked to try one.

No way the

Only 7 out of 8 headlines are about Prime Day. You need to put out another article.

I did a double take at the amount of salt that pizza shop had also. I worked at a pizza joint years ago and we sold a lot of dishes besides pizza and didn’t have close to that amount of salt on hand.

The thing I think most American pizza shops miss about pineapple on pizza is that it not only needs to be balanced against something salty (like all those cured meats) but also something spicy (jalapeños, banana peppers, even crushed red pepper).

Tomato is a fruit, too, even when it’s turned into marinara.

I don’t think it’s inconceivable at all. I was born in 1983 and spent most of my life in Metro Detroit. I don’t recall of hearing or seeing of pineapple on pizza until I was in high school in the late 90s.

I think if you choose that as a framework for interpreting every organized religion then that’s what you’ll see.

I’m originally from a small town in Kansas and don’t remember encountering Hawaiian pizza until the early 90's while I was in college. Keep in mind that small town America, especially during the time period of Stranger Things, wasn’t as connected to the cultural happenings of the larger cities.  I don’t think it’s

And imagine if he gets the money and says “You can stay here now!” and his daughter is heartbroken because their new house would have been really close to Disneyworld.

A good father would do everything in his power to keep his loved ones from living in Florida.

I love how the big “emotional” crux that’s motivating Foxx’s character is that, if he doesn’t make a lot of money in a short amount of time, his wife and daughter will...move to Florida. Not that they’ll die of some disease or be killed by some big bad guy or something, just that they’ll move away from where he is. I

This is really the key passage for me:

When you understand that organized religion is about control, nothing more, nothing less ... it becomes easy to explain some of the abhorent things they do like excluding women from positions of leadership, indoctrinating children, lying, gaslighting, etc. It’s all about maintaining control.

I had shrimp won ton soup for lunch. Sure, it’s 90 degrees outside. But it’s a cool 68 degrees in our air-conditioned house.

Remember: if you see someone shoplifting FOOD, no you fucking didn’t.
