One day, Ivans will rule the world.
I know! When I was getting my Masters, I used to head straight from my work to class with no time for dinner. To hold me over, my giddy, subversive pleasure was Flamin' Hot Cheetos from the vending machine. I knew how wrong they were and I knew that they make hurtful FIRE POOPS, but I just couldn't stop. Twice a week…
Stay away from the Flamin' Hot Cheetos. They are addictive and give you FIRE POOPS. It's the worst.
As was/will I.
"He says making viewers pay for HBO in order to see the show, and then pay for a movie ticket to see the movie, would be unfair. "
Wait, but what about Entourage? Because that's exactly what happened.
Oh, dear lord no, I am no Apple user and never will be. I have too much respect for myself, my wallet, and my devices to ever go down that road.
I honeymooned on the Sandwich Islands. It was delicious!
I never ever get tired of this. It's MADNESS!!
Also, the musical cues are all over the place. I have to imagine it's a purposeful joke.
Also, right above the states, it says that it's copied from the Census of 1870. Something is very fishy (hoggy?) about this map!
It's an 1876 map of The Future!
I just checked a random Dell 27" LED monitor and it only uses 22 watts; 43 max.
Since the dongle announced with the new Macbook pushes a lot, my guess is that it won't be too hot. As much disdain as I have for Apple, their engineers USUALLY know what they are doing.
Yeah! I mean, look at that rounded rectangle! Apple is going to sue the hell out of this company!
Are they making a gold one for the Rich Kidz?
Thinking through this logically, it has to be able to carry both data and power simultaneously. After all, Apple is selling a shitty dongle for $80 that allows you to both charge the new Macbooks while using an external monitor, right? The dongle itself would be passing both power and data.
Now THAT would be amazing. MAKE IT HAPPEN, LIMER!
I don't see why Apple would change their proprietary ports on their mobile gadgets. They could have done the same thing with any USB 2.0 cable, but chose to go their own way.
Since they can carry both power and video, is there any chance that this will streamline monitor cabling as well? I'd love to not have multiple cables coming out of the back of my screen if my computer has the ability to do both power and content through One Magic Cable.
