I was really just being a smart ass. What I was saying though is that everything we do is natural because we ourselves are part of nature. Also genetic defects happen naturally all the time.

It's possible to argue though that we aren't 'fucking with the way things work'. It's natural for our species to do research, how unnatural can something from Earth be? If this is the course that humans have taken ourselves to, then it's technically 'natural'.
