I have this feeling the blame isn't on the companies themselves but the shady/greedy managers who run the dealerships. After all, they are in china.

Yeah the transition period is pretty annoying... but you do have to realize that the dock connector was released almost a decade ago (in 2003). If they want to continue to make better products they have to trade older technologies for the newer ones.

I've gotten so used to using beta software I often complain about bugs - then realize why there are so many.

It seems kinda unfair and illogical to compare one laptop to a handful of others. Cause then you could just pick and choose.
