I Started Something

A friend and I were just discussing the Esprit outlet this past Saturday. Back in the day (yes, I'm an old), it was an actual warehouse in San Francisco, and you just had to pick through bins and bags and boxes of stuff to find those treasures - so much school clothes for so little money. Man, Esprit was awesome.

I think even the black shoes that she said to save for the summer would be fine if the socks were black. The white socks are terribly jarring, but a block sock would really just make it look more like a closed shoe.

My worst fear - i'll die at home for whatever reason but the police will be convinced that I was for-sure-murdered because the house is very much not "well-kept". All of the newspaper articles about my death will be "I Started Something was apparently not a good housekeeper so police thought someone had broken in"

I think jealousy can play in to it strangely enough. I’m divorced, but the kids father has them every other weekend, etc. And when they aren’t with their dad, very, very often one of their grandmothers will swoop in and take them away for the weekend. I love my kids a lot, but they are 8 and 10 and boys, and yeah - I

Threw it out - and it was never even used?!?! That bag is super duper cute! I have a sad now :(

Except that a huge chunk of the passes have already been distributed. It's really only the very northern part of the state that still has passes available. We have a number of State Parks w/ redwoods in Santa Cruz County - every single pass for the parks is GONE.

Sheesh - in California most of the insurance companies are required to electronically submit proof of insurance to DMV. I have not had to produce "proof" for registration purposes in probably close to 10 years it feels like.

I did an FHA loan back in 2012 - it was pretty much the only way I was going to be able to buy a house. My house was less than 10 years old when purchased, so I didn’t have to worry too much about the inspection requirements. I refinanced about 6 months ago to a conventional loan - so nice not to pay PMI any longer!

I'm divorced in California also. It was pretty much 6 months to the day after we signed the paper. I was told the 6 month wait was the legal requirement. Although neither the ex or I actually had to show up in court, a judge did have to sign the paperwork. I suppose the LA courts could be far, far more backlogged than

It’s Renee Elise Goldsberry. Says it right there in the screencap ;)

I have a friend here in Santa Cruz whose parents were murdered by one of the serial killers in the 70s. It wasn't Kemper but the other guy whose name escapes me right now.

As an old, I'm far more familiar with Bryan than Ryan. Legit thought it was Bryan and thought "Huh - his gravelly voice could make it kind of cool"

Tangled? Not the cartoon Tangled, right? I can't imagine what would enrage your about that movie.

I wish I had the bottle in front of me to confirm, but I’m 99% certain that I have a bottle of Jeffrey’s Pine lotion. Friends just bought it for me last month on a trip to Calaveras State Park - it was something locally made. I recall the label talks about bringing in the pine smell which you are correct - is very

The link for the round ice ball maker seems to go to the 5-pack only for $24.99? Code doesn't work on that one, and I can't seem to find the single tray for $9.99.

He didn't. He took it to school to show the engineering teacher. The clock made a sound in his English class so he showed the clock to the teacher after class and that's when she called the principal and had him detained.

definitely true - it's hard to tell with carseats. But considering this happened in the Bay Area, I am assuming it's a commuter that probably has this baby strapped in every day, all day. It's actually pretty smart - if the CHP was driving by the car, they would glance over, see a "baby" and keep on cruising. The

here's my guess - carpool lane. babies count as passengers for the HOV lane - people have used mannequins, stuffed animals, etc. Would not even be slightly surprised to find out someone strapped a fake baby into a car seat for that purpose.

Exactly what I was thinking. Didn't they announce something several months ago - and it was like 6 months or less after they got married as I recall.

I have those and the neckband LGs and I vastly prefer the LGs. Maybe its because I am female, but the cord on the mpow is constantly getting tangled in my long hair. What I like about the neck ones is that it’s just the bud I have to worry about.
