I Started Something

I had a roommate in 1997-98 who was buying these things up for his daughter. He was completely convinced he was investing in her future. He was buying the super expensive ones too! I was just like "Duuuuude. No." I wonder what he ever did with them...

No, I didn't feel it was downplayed at all. I definitely feel your comment!

I'm mixed too. I read "black" to white people but "mixed" to black people. Oh man, I just have to laugh at your "The More You Know" comment becuase I definitely get that quite a bit. On the plus side, most folks don't argue with me - maybe they don't dare, haha. I am now "Teh Authority" and final word on race

Yes, thank you. I didn't have a problem with him calling the dog Blackie, but the "explanation" was a very WTF moment

I have a "friend using the N word" story from like 25 years ago. So there's a large group of us hanging out at someone's house, drinking beer, etc. Everyone is white except for me. Friend's brother stops by with his dog - Friends brother is white, but a total surfer/rasta/stoner dude into reggae, etc. Talk turns

Yep yep. And actually for me it's not her (supposedly) past use of the word. What struck me most was her response about her husband making racial sterotype jokes to her. She said she wasn't offended because he is her husband. WTF lady? If it is not in her heart or whatever her babbling "apology" said - then you stop

I actually liked Kaidence even as I rolled my eyes at the spelling. I thought it was a nice combo of the two - a K name for Kim with a musical nod for Kanye

I don't know about reasonable, but I don't think it's too terrible. It's one of those names you might giggle at - like Samuel Samuelson or Donald Donaldson - but it's not a "WTF were you thinking?!?!?!" sort of name. At least IMO...

Waxing eyebrows I can handle. Threading? Nope, nope, nope. That sh*t is PAINFUL. Full on crying every time I have tried it. Waxing isn't pleasant but at least the pain is over quickly...

oh hell yes. I'd wear these loudly and proudly.

I am biracial (black/mexican) with mediumish color to my skin my ex-husband is white (jewish and french, a bit on the pale side) and we have 2 sons. Son #1 - White skin, red hair, etc. Even I was a touch surpised when he emerged from my body. Son #2 - lighter than me, but definitely looks like he is "something"

Ugh Farrah - shut up, shut up, shut up! I don't even care about James Deen but the smack talk she has thrown his way since that tape is ridiculous. She PAID the man to be in her porno, then tried to claim he wanted to date her for real - never mind that he supposedly has a real life porn star girlfriend, then tried

Are we gonna get your regular full recap/analysis this week? I haven't seen the episode yet but I want your take on Don & Betty sleeping together!

Former macy*s employee here! Yup, exactly what I saw!

Yes but it's Chowchilla. As others have said its because of the women's prison. I mean yay for that 102% but the work available puts it into perspective.

Fair point. But as the person being criticized I'm not allowed to defend myself? I have now given up all rights to be offended because I dared to state my feelings? I think because this is Kardashian vs Cobain it's super tempting to dismiss Kendall immediately but I'm trying to look at this without the names and

Ugh I hate this kinja..

Why is it a fair criticism? I know it's tempting to dismiss anything and everything kardashian but I thought Frances' reaction was completely over the top. Kendall's tweet was vague as you say and IMO not even especially whiny - she didn't say she had the worst life ever or anything close to that. "I wish things could

Yep. I know we don't do this around here but +1 to that. read it the exact same way.

Thanks for that link. I'm a little confused now though - did they arrive at the same time and Mr. Cordero kicked down the door? Ramsey heard the cry and he and Cordero both ran over to the house? Cordero kicking down the door and Ramsey arrived to help? Regardless, bottom line - the women were thankfully freed no
