Yeah, just a gut feeling, but I see your point.

I think it’s because of the predictability of the NBA. I can say today with probably ~75% confidence that the Warriors will win the NBA this year. We’re halfway in to the regular season. And it’s like this most years.
Not entirely true:
If they stay over more than 50% of the time, that is too much.
There are 3 ways to read that advice:
It pains me to say this, considering it’s produced by fruit-flavor-of-the-month Traveler, but Jack-o Traveler Shandy has a lot of pumpkin (the gourd, not the spice) flavor and I like it.
Second-gen Legend was my first car. So much fun to drive. I will find another one someday.
Not only that, but how the %$#& was he able to win an NLCS MVP while sitting in that quadrant? (I say this as a Cardinals fan)
Be sure to include that it was made by the Kappas themselves and not the Sigma Chis. Being an alumnus of the U of I, I am 100% sure that is the case.
As an alumnus of the U of I and knowing how these things work, I can promise you it was the KKGs themselves that made this banner. And that the sororities made all of these banners themselves and gave them to the fraternity to hang on their house.
If you can’t fix it with your TV settings, check the aTV settings too. IIRC, there is something to do with overscan in there as well.
MNF has almost always had a different graphics package from the rest of ESPN/ABC. Got to make the NFL feel special (I hated writing those words).
In theory, I agree. However, most TVs are 1080p these days, and the artifacts from upscaling 720p are probably just as bad as the motion blur from 1080i. If only everyone would broadcast 1080p natively!
CBS and NBC use 1080i. ESPN/ABC and Fox use 720p (This is for both sports and non-sports programming). Generally speaking, cable channels under each respective corporate umbrella use the resolution/scanning of the parent company.
AT&T definitely has lower rates now (if you change your plan, they don’t just give it automatically...).
I think if you grew up cheering for one school but then went to another, it’s okay to be a fan of both so long as the two aren’t natural enemies.
Care to elaborate? I’ve never really seen any theories on this, but always thought it strange.
Who cares? It’s still not a valid use of tax dollars.
I would also say that the Copa America Centenario will be meaningful.
Are they applying paint to some deeper level of ice, then making more ice on top of it?
