It boggles the mind on how this hasn’t gotten a movie adaptation when Guardians: Owls of Ga’hoole made a good movie. Also probably the last Zack Snyder film I liked.

I actually really liked The Cat Returns but it’s definitely one of their more forgotten films. Goro’s latest film was definitely much improved over his debut so maybe he will end up getting support to make more. It would be nice if Ghibli had a good rotation of like 3 younger directers so that they can keep churning…

Yeah, it’s definitely gonna happen. I remember back in the 90s when Nintendo went on that mad lawsuit spree against all those devs that copied Super Mario 64’s 3D open world platforming gameplay. It’s gonna be like that all over again.
