Reboot has always more or less been a buzz word to detract from the negative connotation of remake, but to also mean reviving a dead franchise, which this is doing. And with none of the old cast returning, it makes sense. I don’t see the problem here.

The thing with GOTG is that without the Marvel logo it wouldn’t be superhero anything, which adds to the interest in what they’re doing.

That’s actually one of the things I really liked about the story. Nothing ends, and it showed that well. I don’t think they problems they had in the time between Jedi and Awakens negates the happy moment they had, but it couldn’t stay happy forver.

A lot of those didn’t play at the theatre I was in. We got Warcraft, X-Men, and Civil War. We also got Kubo and the Two Strings, which looked awesome on the big screen! Sadly, it’s the farthest away.

This is pretty sweet, but I love the new Apocalypse design. It has many hallmarks of his classic suit, with the tubes, collar, cheek lines, etc. and combined it with ancient Egyptian elements that make perfect sense for his origin.

I don’t see the problem with the dialogue. I think it fits very well with most of my favorite westerns, as well as Tarantino’s stylized speech.

I think banning merch in that costume is a bit too far in the other direction. Though a temporary moratorium would be fine, as long as they actually made other Leias in place of her.

Monae is amazing, though being the Archandroid, I think she’d be better as the tinman than Dorothy. :P
